The History Department of K.K.M. College, Jamui is one of the distinguished and academically enriching departments of the institution. Established with the objective of providing students with a comprehensive and analytical understanding of the past, the department aims to develop historical awareness, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation of India’s rich cultural and social heritage.

The curriculum covers Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Indian History along with World History, Cultural Studies, and Post-colonial Studies. It is designed not only to familiarize students with significant historical events and processes but also to introduce them to research methodology, interpretation of sources, and evidence-based historical analysis.
